Understanding how we influence each other is fundamental to describe all aspects of human interaction. From extremist behavior, to the acceptance of scientific ideas or the spread of fake new, from how prices are formed to what makes a person adopt healthier habits (something I should do myself), modeling opinions is fundamental to describe human societies.

Why do we age, why do we cooperate with other? Evolutionary questions are interesting by themselves and a lot of fun to explore.

When we believe, experiments show we stop reasoning to learn the truth. Instead, our minds look for arguments to support our beliefs. Understanding how this interacts with science and opinions in general is fundamental.
